5-a-side is the most popular for casual games - usually played on smaller pitches (often 3G/astro turf) with 5 players per team. 7-a-side is a bit bigger, and 11-a-side is full-size. Most casual games are 5-a-side or 7-a-side, perfect for a kickabout after work or on weekends.

How do I organise my own game?

When you join, let us know you're interested in organising. We'll connect you with other organisers and help you set up your game. You can post when and where, and players in your area will be notified. Most organisers split the pitch cost between players - usually around £3-£8 per person for 5-a-side.

Do I need to be good at football?

Not at all! Most games are mixed ability and welcoming to everyone. Whether you're just getting back into football, play regularly, or haven't kicked a ball in years - you'll find games suited to your level. Many organisers specify if it's beginner-friendly, intermediate, or competitive.

For 5-a-side at facilities like Powerleague or Goals, expect to pay around £30-£60 per hour for the pitch, which organisers typically split between players (usually £3-£8 per person). Some local pitches are cheaper. The organiser will let you know the cost when you sign up.

What should I bring to a game?

Bring football boots (or trainers if it's 3G/astro turf - check with the organiser), shin pads (highly recommended), water, and a change of clothes. The organiser usually provides the football, but it's worth checking.

Can I organise a regular weekly game?
